  • Attended overnight camp every summer from 10 yrs – 21 yrs. Participated in Leadership Development Program and was a counselor, waterfront director, and leadership training director during summers in college @ Camp Minikani
  • Married to best friend Kristin for 33 years
  • Father of four incredible children: Keegan (28 yrs), Shane (deceased), Kellie (23 yrs) and Shannon (21 years)
  • Founded the Porcupine Foundation to honor Shane’s memory. Raised ~ $500K and established named endowments in his memory at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin ($200K), YMCA Camp Minikani ($80K) and Unity in Motion’s Camp Kindred ($10K)
  • Lifelong dedicated Packer and Badger Fan – attended ’97 Superbowl and ’93 Rose Bowl.  Green Bay Packer shareholder, Wisconsin Badger Football season ticket holder ’93 – 2021
  • Enjoy physical fitness – stay in shape as member of Orange Theory Fitness, YMCA, and owner of Peloton

  • Unexplainable affinity for the Sandhill Crane – have traveled to Baraboo WI to witness their annual pre-migration gathering on the banks of the Wisconsin River.  Sustaining member of the Aldo Leopold Foundation.
